Hamilton Watch Co Antique Map Measurer (Model 331)
This watch is no longer for sale (sold on 2009-04-01)
Price : US $25.40
This is an Antique Hamilton Watch Company Map Measuring Tool. It is used to measures distances on maps by rolling the small wheel on the end along a road on a map. It is in very good condition and works perfectly. Back is marked 'Hamilton Watch Co' 'USA' 'Model 331'. It is 4 1/2' long and 1 1/4' wide at the dial end. Not sure of the age but it appears to be pretty old.
This watch is sold (sold on 2009-04-01)

I have a model 33, the handle swivels , measures in inches and centimeters. Set the dial to zero, roll along what is to be measured, read the distance in inches or centimeters, then using the scale on the map (one inch equats one mile, etc.) and convert the reading to the unit indicated.

I also have a Model 331 Map Measurer and can't read the directions on the back of the box. Can you tell me how it works?
